Matthew Tharp

Pastor

Pastor Tharp came to Trident Baptist Church in January of 2024 after serving from 2011-2024 as the youth pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Central Lake, MI. He has a passion to serve the Lord and is thrilled to be in the Low Country.



He is a dynamic preacher of the Gospel, as well as an accomplished singer. You will enjoy his Bible-filled messages and personal touch.

Doug Brandenburg

Associate Pastor

Pastor Brandenburg has been in the ministry since 1980 and has served as a senior pastor and associate pastor. He also has traveled extensively as a full-time evangelist. He joined the staff at Trident Baptist Church in February of 2021.
