Our Pastor & Staff

Pastor Tharp has been at Trident Baptist Church since January 2024. He is the son of a pastor, Russell Tharp, and served as his Associate Pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Central Lake, Michigan from 2012-2024.

He is an exciting preacher of the Gospel, a piano player, and a singer. You will enjoy his Bible-filled messages and personal touch. Pastor Tharp is third generation pastor and preacher. As such, his roots into the "Old Paths" run deep. He does not desire to be a trendy social media influencer but rather a preacher passionate for his community.

Pastor Tharp and Lyndsey, his wife, have devoted their life to making an impact in the community there are raising their family in. They have fallen in love with the precious people of the "Low Country"!  They look forward to developing many new friendships within this area for the years to come.

He is married to Lyndsey and they have four children: Brooklynn, Adelyn, Jaxon, and Ian.

They make their home in Moncks Corner.
