Our Pastor & Staff

Pastor Tharp has been at Trident Baptist Church since January 2024. He is the son of a pastor, Russell Tharp, and served as his Associate Pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Central Lake, Michigan from 2011-2024.

He is an exciting preacher of the Gospel, a piano player, and a singer. You will enjoy his Bible-filled messages and personal touch. Pastor Tharp is third generation pastor and preacher. As such, his roots into the "Old Paths" run deep. He does not desire to be a trendy social media influencer but rather a preacher passionate for his community.



He is married to Lyndsey and they have four children: Brooklynn, Adelyn, Jaxon, and Ian.

They make their home in Moncks Corner.
